why the little moments matter

Every photographer has a muse, a recurring theme that speaks to their soul and fuels their passion. For me, it's the little moments—the seemingly mundane yet profoundly beautiful snippets of everyday life. These are the moments that often go unnoticed but hold immense significance: the tippy-toe reaches, the gentle strokes of hair braiding, the joyful chaos under a backyard sprinkler, and the sticky fingers from licking a spoon clean of icing.

“my passion for capturing these (small) moments is rooted in their authenticity. These instances are unscripted, natural, and deeply personal. They tell a story far greater than could ever be choreographed.”

— CORINNE PARKER

My passion for capturing these moments is rooted in their authenticity. These instances are unscripted, natural, and deeply personal. They tell a story far greater than could ever be choreographed. As a family photographer, I have the privilege of being invited into these intimate spaces, where I can freeze time and preserve these fleeting memories for families to cherish forever.

I believe that it's the little moments that weave the fabric of our lives. Each laugh, each splash, each messy kitchen adventure adds a thread to the tapestry that represents our unique journeys. These instances might be brief, but their impact lasts a lifetime, shaping the narrative of our family legacies.

This is why I am so passionate about what I do. Capturing these tiny yet significant details brings an indescribable joy not only to me but to those I photograph. When families look back at the images we've created together, they don't just see pictures—they see the embodiment of love, laughter, and life lived fully in the moment.

So, when I aim my camera, I’m not just looking to capture a smile—I’m looking to capture the essence of the soul, the pure joy of living, and the unguarded beauty that flourishes in the ‘in-between’. These are more than just photographs; they are memories made tangible, heartbeats of a past moment, and that is truly magical.

“there is a video i found from back when i was three,
you set up a paint set in the kitchen and you’re talking to me.
it's the age of princesses and pirate ships and the seven dwarfs,
and daddy's smart and you're the prettiest lady in the whole wide world.”
